Luisa Sposa, a love story for the small things

Luisa Sposa is a love story. Love for the little things: letting hands slide over the wheat harvests. Walking barefoot in the water of the sea. Breathing in the scents of nature in the air. Luisa Lotti decided to set up her own handmade tailor’s shop in 1988. She was in love with her homeland, Puglia, and what it had to offer. She was deeply inspired by what surrounded her.
Forty years on, while Luisa Sposa’s gowns have paraded down the most prestigious catwalks, from Milan to New York, this love continues unchanged. The inspiration for each creation, as then, comes from the same territory of the Maison. The meticulous work of tailoring, the sartorial care and the the personalisation of the item are the attentions of that feeling: the love for the small things.

Thanks to all this, the Luisa Sposa Atelier, which started out as a small tailor’s shop, is now a family business, where many women are employed. The management of the company is built around them, respecting their rhythms and needs.
